ReSoundIn StockGN Multi-Mic+ Wireless Remote Microphone
The Multi-Mic+ is a compact wireless microphone and audio streamer that helps compatible GN Hearing hearing aids receive speech and audio more directly, especially in situations where distance, background noise, or room acoustics make listening harder. Clip it onto a conversation partner, hand it to a speaker, place it on a table during a meeting, or connect it to an external audio source. The Multi-Mic+ sends sound wirelessly to compatible hearing aids, helping bring the voice or audio source closer without requiring the listener to physically move closer. It is especially useful for walking tours, car journeys, small group conversations, lectures, classes, meetings, and events where the person speaking may be several feet away, facing another direction, or competing with background noise. In real-world use, reviewers have found it helpful for hearing tour guides, event speakers, and conversation partners in cars and busy public spaces. The Multi-Mic+ can also act as a flexible audio bridge. It supports microphone mode, automatic table mode, built-in telecoil, 3.5 mm line-in, and optional FM receiver input. With compatible setups, it can also be used as a portable way to bring Auracast audio sharing into everyday situations, allowing users to tune in through a compatible assistant app. Why you might want it Hearing aids are best when the speaker is nearby and the signal is clear. The Multi-Mic+ helps by putting the microphone closer to the sound you want to hear. That can make a meaningful difference when listening from a distance, in a group, in a car, or in spaces where voices echo or get lost in background noise. When worn vertically using the clip or lanyard, the Multi-Mic+ focuses on speech pickup and helps reduce the impact of surrounding noise. When placed flat on a table, it automatically switches into table mode to pick up voices from multiple directions, making it useful for small meetings and group conversations. It is not a magic fix for every noisy restaurant or crowded room, but for many everyday listening situations, it can make speech easier to follow and reduce the strain of trying to keep up. How to choose the right domes
Match the size
Domes are sized in millimetres (typically 6–12 mm). Use the same size your audiologist fitted — too small whistles, too large feels tight.
Match the style
Open domes keep the ear canal ventilated, generally for mild to moderate loss; closed and power domes seal more sound in, generally for moderate loss or worse. Tulip and double-vent styles sit in between.
Replace every 2–3 months
Swap domes when they discolour, stiffen or tear. Fresh domes keep sound clean and prevent earwax reaching the receiver.
When to change your wax filters
Change every 4–8 weeks
Replace a wax guard as soon as sound becomes weak, muffled or cuts out — that usually means the filter is clogged, not the hearing aid failing.
Always fit a fresh guard
Use the removal tool to pull the old filter, then press in a new one. Never reuse a guard — it's the cheapest part protecting the most expensive one.
Keep spares on hand
Filters are the most common reason a hearing aid goes quiet. A spare pack in your kit means a 30-second fix instead of a clinic visit.

Frequently asked questions
What domes does the Jabra Enhance Select 500 use?
The Jabra Enhance Select 500 uses SureFit 3 domes. Match the size (in millimetres) and style your audiologist fitted — it's usually printed on your current dome. Not sure which to pick? Send us a photo and we'll match it.
What wax filters does the Jabra Enhance Select 500 use?
The Jabra Enhance Select 500 uses wax guards sized for its receiver (shown in the Compatible wax filters section above). Each guard comes on a dual-ended tool — pull the old one out of the receiver and press a fresh one in, about 30 seconds per aid.
How often should I replace the domes and wax filters on the Jabra Enhance Select 500?
Replace the domes every 2–3 months — sooner if one discolours, hardens or tears — and change the wax filters every 4–8 weeks, or as soon as an aid sounds weak or muffled. Both take under a minute at home.
Is the Jabra Enhance Select 500 rechargeable, or does it use batteries?
The Jabra Enhance Select 500 is rechargeable — it charges in its case rather than taking disposable batteries, so there are no batteries to buy.
Can I use wireless accessories with the Jabra Enhance Select 500?
Yes — the Jabra Enhance Select 500 supports remote microphones and TV streamers. See the Wireless accessories section above for the ones that connect to it.
Will these parts fit my Jabra Enhance Select 500?
Yes — every part on this page is matched to the SureFit 3 platform the Jabra Enhance Select 500 uses. If you'd like us to double-check before you order, just get in touch with your device details.
