Hearing-aid batteries are color-coded by size: 10 (yellow), 312 (brown), 13 (orange) and 675 (blue). Use the size your device takes.

Wait 60 seconds after the tab

These are zinc-air batteries. Peel the tab, then leave it off for a full minute before inserting — it lets air activate the cell and adds days of life.

Keep batteries at room temperature with the tab on. Avoid the fridge and loose pockets, where coins can short them.
