Pairing problems and laggy TV audio can get in the way of the show. The Sennheiser BTA1 TV Transmitter sends clear, low-latency audio from nearly any TV or other audio source to compatible Auracast headphones, earbuds, hearing aids, and speakers.

Connect to nearly any TV with ease
Connect through HDMI ARC, optical mini-TOSLINK, analog 3.5 mm, or USB audio. Optical, analog, and USB cables are included, and the transmitter can draw power from a TV USB port or another USB source. An HDMI cable is not included.
The BTA1 supports stereo PCM up to 48 kHz/24-bit and AC-3 Dolby Digital up to 640 kbps. Automatic source switching and video-delay compensation can be configured in the Smart Control Plus app.
Share with multiple Auracast listeners
Auracast broadcast mode lets multiple people listen at the same time without one-to-one Bluetooth pairing. Each listener can use independent volume and compatible sound settings, while the TV speakers may remain on when supported by the TV. Sennheiser's technical guidance recommends fewer than 250 active broadcast connections.
Compatibility
The BTA1 requires Auracast-compatible receiving devices. It does not transmit to headphones that only support Bluetooth Classic. Check your device before ordering in the Bluetooth Auracast product directory.

Optional password protection
The BTA1 broadcasts Auracast audio openly by default. Secure streaming begins only after you set a password in the Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app. According to Sennheiser's privacy information, the app does not transmit personal data to the BTA1 and is used only for password and audio setup.
