How to choose the right domes

1

Match the size

Domes are sized in millimeters (typically 6–12 mm). Use the same size your audiologist fitted — too small whistles, too large feels tight.

2

Match the style

Open domes keep the ear canal ventilated, generally for mild to moderate loss; closed and power domes seal more sound in, generally for moderate loss or worse. Tulip and double-vent styles sit in between.

3

Replace every 2–3 months

Swap domes when they discolor, stiffen or tear. Fresh domes keep sound clean and prevent earwax reaching the receiver.

Frequently asked questions

Are these genuine Widex parts?

We stock genuine Widex domes and wax filters alongside high-quality compatible equivalents, and every part is matched to the receiver platform your model uses. Each product page states the brand and exactly what it fits.

How do I find my Widex model?

Your model name is usually printed inside the battery door or on the body of the hearing aid, and it's listed on your fitting paperwork. Pick it from the list above, or use the Dome Finder to match by brand and model.

How often should I replace Widex domes and wax filters?

Replace domes every 2–3 months (sooner if they discolor, harden or tear) and wax filters every 4–8 weeks, or whenever the sound becomes weak or muffled. Fresh parts keep the sound clear and protect the receiver.
